A few things I've learned coaching others and comp preps.
1. Everybody is different and respond differently to the same program. Some need to work twice as hard to get half of the results. Therefore, I dislike any standardized programs downloaded from the Internet.
2. You can never see the real talents of a person until they are pushed to the limit.
3. Perfect plan is overrated. If you cannot stick with it, a 10 years of 80% effort everyday will prevail a 100% 3-5 months of hard work.
4. There will be always people who claim to be natural trainers (drug-free) when they are not. I stopped bothering to check and focus on myself instead. It is just wrong to compare a natural athlete coach to someone who uses substance.
5. Yes most of us want to be balanced. But don't be amazed to have some people overtrain on some areas of their body. It might not be the 'best', but it is called a preference.
